BioTurku

Biotechnology expertise is of top quality in Southwest Finland. BioTurku is one of Turku Science Park’s two focal areas. BioTurku forms an uninterrupted chain from training and research to commercialisation of discoveries, product development and all the way to production.
Around half of Finland’s pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries are located in the Turku region. They can be considered the traditional areas of core expertise in the region which are complemented by biomaterials and functional foods.
Turku Science Park Ltd is responsible for developing BioTurku especially by implementing and co-ordinating the biotechnology projects of the Centre of Expertise of Southwest Finland and providing the services of Bio Incubator.
